Global Inter-Action responds to a diverse set of needs:

- Individuals world-wide are suffering from poverty, disease, natural and man-made disasters, and they need others to advocate for their support.

- Indigenous organizations and leaders are in need of financial and Human resources to be equipped to devise comprehensive initiatives.

- Business leaders, corporations, foundations, and individuals are in need of strategic opportunities to invest their charitable resources.

EAST TIMOR, Southeast Asia

Small Business Development
Due to the over saturation of various markets in East Timor, Global Inter-Action is planning to hold a small business training class at the National University in Dili, East Timor. Business professionals will summit for two weeks of training young entrepreneurs on the practical application of small business in Dili. Upon reviewing thorough on-site research in Dili, Global Inter-Action recognized that it is imperative for young entrepreneurs and university students to understand business principles such as: competitive advantage, supply/demand, and capital strategies. The professors at the National University in Dili have also noted that U.S. business trends, international business trends, and education about the importance of small business, would also be of value to the students. During the two week course, the students will also be required to prepare a step-by-step business plan for their prospective idea, with the help of business professionals. Global Inter-Action is working to form strategic relationships so that upon completion of the course, young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to submit individual business plans to request venture capital from U.S. investors, agencies, as well as local banks.

Community Relationships – Soccer Tournament
The most popular sports in East Timor include: soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Global Inter-Action recognizes the value of strengthening community relationships through collective participation in various sporting activities. Global Inter-Action is planning on working in partnership with various local entities in organizing a large-scale soccer tournament for the youth of East Timor. At the conclusion of the final game, a live concert will be held.

Technology Supply
Global Inter-Action recognizes the importance of technology training for youth who desire to enter the global marketplace. Hence, we are positioning ourselves to raise necessary funds to ship computers to various youth centers in Dili, namely WorldVision.

Agricultural Projects
Due to the pressing needs of clean water and agricultural development, Global Inter-Action is positioning itself to enlist volunteer staff to assist in village projects near Baucau in conjunction with Love East Timor.
