Global Inter-Action has an Advisory Board of experienced professionals involved in NGO, Government, and Business management. Global Inter-Action board members and directors receive counsel and strategic guidance from the Advisory Board through regular meetings.


BOARD OF DIRECTORS


Kristofer Gray – Executive Director
Kristofer Gray completed his Master’s Degree at the University of Washington with a focus on International Affairs and Administration (MPA). His undergraduate degree at the University of Washington equipped him with a broad knowledge of the developing countries in Asia. Kristofer has international experience in Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, France, Greece, and Costa Rica. Previously, he has worked as an international banker for Washington Mutual Bank where he specialized in global markets and foreign currencies. Kristofer has also worked for World Concern, a global NGO, where he developed an extensive analysis of the global HIV/AIDS pandemic and advised the organization on strategic responses to the humanitarian crisis. Most recently, he has co-founded Integrity Financial Corporation, in order to assist the senior market with conservative investments and enable them to leave a legacy. Kristofer has a passion for entrepreneurialism, and creating opportunities in developing countries by assisting small businesses.

Tyler Benthin - Chairman
Tyler Benthin earned his degree at the University of Washington Business School with an emphasis on Finance in 1999, which propelled him into the Internet era of the late 1990s. He was a Co-Founder of two technology companies; 360 Powered and 3P Networks, with responsibilities of raising over $10M dollars in venture capital as well as working on strategic business development. This experience led him to join the exclusive Cascade Planning and Management Group at UBS, which manages over $350M dollars in assets. Most recently he was recruited by First Horizon Home Loans and the Home Equity Advisory Group. At First Horizon, Tyler partnered with Global Inter-Action board member, David Dammarell, to focus on residential real estate lending services. Tyler is driven to help others locally and abroad by utilizing his skills in business consulting, finance, and resource management to create opportunities for the less-fortunate.

Davis Hsu – Vice Chairman
Davis Hsu currently works in the private wealth management unit of Mellon Financial in Seattle. Previous to Mellon, Davis earned his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Washington, graduating with honors. Davis began his career in leadership development at The City Church in Kirkland, Washington, serving as Associate Intern Director. For the past ten years, Davis and his wife, Michelle, have influenced dozens of churches, schools and organizations that serve high school and college age students- particularly young people of color- as teachers, speakers, mentors and advisors.

David Dammarell – Chief Financial Officer
David Dammarell currently works in banking for First Horizon National in their lending division of Bellevue, Washington. Previous to First Horizon, David worked for various financial institutions ranging from the development of a Hedge Fund (Northstar Capital LLC), to the venture capital industry with Startup Academy. At the Startup Academy, David was a business venture analyst and consultant for small and medium-sized businesses. He has a desire to equip and empower the next generation through leadership and mentorship programs.

Rees Bettinger - Operations
Rees Bettinger completed his undergraduate degree in Comparative Religion at the University of Washington. His studies at the reputable Jackson School of International Studies had a strong emphasis on Islamic religion and culture in the developing world. Rees has traveled to China, Vietnam, and Tajikistan to establish English teaching and humanitarian projects. He has a desire to build cross-cultural relationships and to create opportunities for the poor. Rees played professional soccer for the Seattle Sounders and the Portland Timbers, and continues to organize community development events through coaching youth soccer teams, camps, and clinics. Currently, he works as a real estate investor in the Portland community.
